A retired credit union manager with a life long passion for history, Mike is in his second year as a tour guide in and around Thomasville. He has led over 90 tours and recently received an award for most Trip Advisor referrals for the Taste of Thomasville Food Tour. 

Mike has spent many hours studying Thomasville history and leads several different tours for the Local Strolls tours affiliated with The Paxton Historic House Hotel. 

 

The Dawson Street and Hansel Street tours are a combination of history and architecture. The newly established Short and Sweet tour is also a combination of history and architecture but focuses more on downtown Thomasville.
